I don’t think a magnet would effect it, either. It’s not a
hard drive and has no moving parts.
Just don’t get it wet or conduct any electricity through
it. (So don’t go out in the rain and get hit by lightning.)
Plus is that it’s small and has no moving parts, and
transfers data fast. The minus is that they are so small
you can lose them, sit on them, etc..
I live in Waldorf and at about 5:25AM on July 31,2009 I
heard a really loud boom that did not come from a
thunderstorm. It sounded a little identical to thunder but
it wasn’t exact. Later on I asked my father if he heard it,
and he said no but he saw a really bright flash. Does
anyone in the area know anything about what happend.
Do you know of a good flash player that can be used on the
HTC magic phone?
Can anyone give me a website or links or any instructions
on how to flash a phone to cricket. I know it can be done,
but i just cannot figure out how to do it! I purchased an
LG voyager for verizon, and I want to flash it so it can
work for my cricket service. Even suggestions to stores or
people who will flash it for me will be greatly
appreciated!
Hit *22804, then hit “send”. But only if it has an 11 digit
ESN. If it is the new IMEI, it won’t work. Keep in mind
this is only a partial flash and some apps won’t work, but
this will get you voice. After you hit “send” you should
hear the cricket tone and you’re golden.
it doesnt exsactly shut off. i can still hear the harddisk
spinning. but there is nothing on the screen. it just goes
black and i cant hear anything. i think its just shutting
the screen off to change power but i cant get it back on. i
think it has something to do with my flash player since it
only happens when adobe is being used. can someone please
help with this?
I have a 4GB SanDisk Cruzer Flash Drive and I want to
download TF2 from Steam, seeing as how my PS3 version
doesn’t get updates. Now, my XP-running PC is a tad bogged
-down space-wise. Is it possible to put TF2 on my flash
drive (or even just some of it?) and be able to play it
decently on my PC?
I’m pretty sure you can if you have the Steam client
installed on the flash drive along with the game so your
basically running Steam itself from the drive.
My TF2 install on Steam is 7.52 GB, so if it is possible,
you’ll need a bigger flash drive.
Can anything else cause the information stored on the drive
to lose it’s integrity, like a magnet that comes to close to
the drive. Can you hold information on the drive for years.
Whats the pluses and minuses of the these drives.
you can hold information forever and a magnet ruin them?
- Harddrives, Yes
- Floppy Disks, Yes
- CD’s, No (Safest Means of Storage, unless it gets
scratched.)
- Flashdrives, If they use a RAM-Type chip, then usually
No. However, if you use the flashdrives with
microharddrives in it, then yes.
Theoretically forever.
